Mecha Can Burst
This project was created for an art show in Tokyo hosted by NEORT. The show Curation Free was developed around an idea of having an open platform to include anyone who brought work to the show. Artists had the option to display on a single wall or multiple walls and the total list of artwork cycles periodically. Once I found out this info, I worked on sculpting a scene inspired by Gundam, a mech hand project by Rakan Khamash on artstation, and the exploded cans by Mr. Mars Studios. I basically merged all of that, sculpted the can, modeled the mech boy and the robot hand, used some blobs and swirls to finish the scene. After I rendered in Eevee, I touched up the picture in Photoshop to get a posterized layer on top of the original render.
